4 key points on SEO article writing

When people visit your site they are looking for information which is found in the content and if that content is poorly written and/or has misleading info then your site will lose credibility, hence no-one would like it. They say if design is the Queen of a website, the content is the King. So, make sure your King behaves like a King and conquers the hearts of people who read that content. Here are a few tips on writing good SEO articles:

Write for People, Not Search Engines

We are now past the era, when we used to write articles for search engines and bots by stuffing them with a bunch of keywords. Now, people have become smart and if they don’t find what they are searching but find a keyword-stuffed post, they become quite unhappy and stop visiting such sites. Therefore, write for those people not the search engines and people need interesting, well-written, in-depth and friendly articles – so give them what they want and they will keep coming back to you.

It is also important that the content you write is relevant to your site’s niche and not out of the way. Moreover, always come with creative and original content. Copying or plagiarism will certainly get you in trouble and is not at all encouraged. There are so many topics which have been covered already by different sites and bloggers. Therefore, if you can come with something different and unique it will sell.

Forget the Keyword Density and Placement

Moreover, forget about the myth regarding keyword density and keyword placement. Why? Well, no search engine has exactly a guideline as how many times or where a keyword should be placed. Besides it limits you from writing a quality piece because you might be inserting the keyword where it doesn’t suit. So, write naturally and insert the keywords in a natural flow.

Stay Away from Spelling, Grammatical Errors and…

If your article is written in US, UK or any other English it might be acceptable for your readers but if it’s grammatically poor and/or has spelling errors it will raw and bad  which will scare away your readers. Therefore, make sure your articles contain no such errors and it is also recommended to use words related to your keywords, different synonyms and don’t forget those long-tail keywords as many people use them for their queries. So, take their advantage and naturally use them in your posts.

Share, Share and Share Your Content

So, you’ve written a great article which follows almost every other guidelines for a good writing piece. However, if there are not many people reading your piece then you must’ve forgotten to share your content with your friends and followers. Take advantage of all social networks and spread it like the fire in the forest, especially Google Plus as it is going to place a huge rule in the coming future to get your individual posts ranked. Also, answer any content-related queries if any of your readers have as it creates a positive impression.

These are few but important tips and can be really helpful in writing good SEO Singapore articles.

Writing for people is very important. I hate clicking on a page only to find that the article has been written for a search engine and not for a real person. It’s so frustrating.

Proofreading is so important. I go over my content at least twice to make sure I haven’t made any errors. I also try to read it again after a few hours in case there’s anything I missed.
